To find sound effects in the library, use the search bar at the top of the Sound Effects page. Type in a keyword that describes what you're looking for (like "whoosh," "explosion," "notification," or "rain") and the library will show you all matching results.
You can preview any sound effect before downloading it by clicking the play button next to its name. This lets you hear exactly what it sounds like before you add it to your project.
How to Download Sound Effects
To download a sound effect, click the green download button on the right side of the sound effect you want. The file will download to your computer immediately. There is no limit on how many sound effects you can download with your subscription. Download as many as you need.
Sound effects are available in MP3 and WAV formats.
Can I Use These Sound Effects in Monetized or Commercial Projects?
Yes, you can use any sound effect from the library in monetized and commercial projects. This includes YouTube videos (including monetized channels), client work, freelance projects, social media content, podcasts, ads, and any other commercial use. You do not need to purchase a separate license. Your subscription covers full commercial rights.
Any sound effect you download is yours to keep and use forever, even if you cancel your subscription later. You will not lose the rights to sound effects you've already downloaded.
I Can't Find the Sound Effect I'm Looking For. What Should I Do?
The library has thousands of sound effects, so try different search terms if your first search doesn't return what you need. For example, if searching "punch" doesn't give you the right result, try "impact," "hit," or "body blow." Broader terms like "cinematic" or "trailer" can also help you discover effects you might not have thought to search for.
