Can I serve customers in more than one language on one subscription?
Yes, on one subscription. You can build mirrored versions of your content, for example, an English site and a Spanish site, with a toggle to switch between them.
Is the platform itself available in other languages?
Yes. The interface supports several languages beyond English, including Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Norwegian, with more to come.
Do courses support captions and other languages?
You can add captions in any language to your course videos. You upload a subtitle file (an .srt file) for each language, tag it with that language, and your viewers can switch between them right in the player. There's also a built-in editor to fine-tune the timing.
One thing to know: the platform doesn't auto-generate or translate captions for you, so you create the .srt file first with an external tool, then upload it. Because you supply the files, you can offer as many languages as you like.
Common tools creators use are Submagic, Veed.io, CapCut, Descript, and Happy Scribe, all of which can auto-generate and translate subtitles and export them as .srt files.
As an author, can it help me publish or sell my book on Amazon?
It doesn't publish or manage books on Amazon. It isn't a KDP publishing, distribution, or Amazon listing and ads tool.
What it gives authors is their own platform around the book: a website and funnel to sell it or give it away, an email and text list to build and market to readers, direct selling of digital downloads or print-on-demand copies, a community, and marketing automation to drive traffic, including to your Amazon listing.
For publishing to Amazon itself, you'd still use Amazon KDP.
